pls elaborate as to which brand you are talking about. I personally feel that rubber dams are effective.Since some time now I have been using a rubber dam for many of my cases and I now wonder why I did not use it all these years. However please note that rubber dam is for patient comfort. there is no conclusive evidence to prove that restorations done with a rubber dam last longer than those done without a rubber dam.

Mainly the clamps are color-coded and easy to decide for which tooth which to be used..

API kit is relatively inexpensive.

Ivoclar Optradam is easy to apply and doesnt take much of the time..

Sheets from Instadam doesnt require frame and really clinician friendly..

Ideally … Rubber dam is the most usefull tool for isolation.. and can be and should
be used for most of the restorative and endodontic procedures.

Initial application takes time but once you get used to it, it doesnt take much time..
