This is a neglected issue because of ignorance on the part of doctors and the patients as well…by doctors i mean dentists as well as the general physicians…most of the physicians do not suggest a dental remedy for this condition…but with increasing awareness these days i think many people will seek prosthetic treatment for this condition..

i recently came across a very interesting appliance for the above condition ata trade fair ., ., it was very similar to the tmj appliance . ,., i fail to recollect the product and company name ,. , ., it has definitely been a highly ignored part of medical/dental practice but as per the stall keeper, this condition is the cause for high BP in 57% of hypertensive patients ., ., this makes it a very critical preventive intervention to be implemented in practice ., ., but then i feel it also a case of ignorance on part of the patients. , ., no patient would come to a doctor/dentist with such a complaint and neither would it be easy to counsell him to undergo the therapy for the same ., .,
