Milk is the only option.

Furthermore if the avulsed tooth is outside for a long period or is contaminated it is unlikely that it can be fixed back in the socket.

One of the factors is how long a time the tooth is out of the socket and the contamination of the socket and the tooth.

Till date I have fixed back three avulsed teeth. Two have succeeded and one was infected and had to be extracted within a month.
