one must realise that our priority is to relieve the patient of his pain..despite other patients getting irritated since it is a clinic and not a bus stand

Also ensure that the receptionist or the operator himself explains this to the waiting patients politely..

 we also try and accomodate a pregnant lady patient as soon as possible. 

Most of the time the other patients are very co-operative if they are explained properly.
