The Indian team dominated in all the departments. Kudos to Mahendra Singh Dhoni for proving his mettle yet again as one of the most successful captains that the team has had. He is now the first Indian captain to record a clean sweep in a series of 4 test matches against any nation.

Team India has also accomplished a hattrick of series win against Australia in India winning 2-0 in 2008-09, 2-0 in 2010-11 and 4-0 in the current series. Australia have been whitewashed for the second time in their cricketing history.

The series has paved the way for new reliable young stars. Young team India is all ready to face the world now.
