    Technology has advanced enough wherein dentists are now using MTA as the material for apexification basically because it is rock hard, sets faster and has elicited better results
    MTA is placed after cleaning the canals and its placement is with the help of ultrasonic tips

    If you are using MTA for apexification, u dont need to wait for months..
    As MTA sets, u can go for obturation.. MTA gives you an advantage of single visit
    apexification.. ProRoot MTA by Dentsply is really good..

    Hi everyone
    I am posting a case i completed last week
    will be following up the case

    Dentsply MTA is an excellent material for treating Open Apex cases
    Although i would advise a dressing with CaOH paste (any of te commercially available pastes)
    since they are convenient to procure and dispense

    I have many more such cases with more than 1 year follow up will upload them soon.

    which commercially available calcium hydroxide is the best.

    what is the cost of dentsply MTA

    Metapex is good.. it is a Calcium Hydroxide with Iodoform Root Canal Filling Material..

    MTA Dentsply ProRoot is for 8000 in Nagpur..

    MTA-Angelus is cheaper..
