    It is advisable to perform the thermal tests along with the pulp tester to confirm the diagnosis.. Endofrost spray is rally good..

    i think cold test …..with dry ice is ideal thermal test…………………….

    Cold test tells you about the vitality of the pulp..and heat test is about the condition of the pulp..(Actually vitalilty is about blood supply.. but it is assumed that if the blood supply is proper so is the nerve supply)
